Provinces
The Generalate of the Congregation is in Rome, Italy. There are five provinces and two vice-provinces within the congregation:
Northern Italy
- provincialate located in Milano
- approximately 230 professed sisters
- primary works: education, health care, pastoral ministry
- missions in Switzerland and Benin
Central/Southern Italy
- created in Sept 2006 from merger of Central and Southern Italian provinces
- provincialate located in Bari
- approximately 325 professed sisters
- primary works: education, health care, pastoral ministry
- mission in Albania
- provincialate located in Sao Paulo
- approximately 275 professed sisters
- primary works: education, health care, social service
- has the congregation's only university, Universidade do Sagrado Coração, located in Bauru
- vice province in Central North Brazil
- provincialate located in Brasilia
- approximately 75 professed sisters
- primary works: education, social service
- missions in Mexico, Mozambique, and the Philippines
- provincialate located in Curitiba
- celebrating 50 years as a province in 2007
- approximately 225 professed sisters
- primary works: education, health care, social service
- vice province in Argentina
- provincialate located in La Plata
- approximately 35 professed sisters
- primary works: education, social service
- missions in Chile and Uruguay
- provincialate located in Hamden, CT
- approximately 145 professed sisters
