On June 10, 2010, the Apostles' Office of Mission Advancement hosted the Apostles Legacy Dinner at Cascade in Hamden, CT. There were over 260 guests in attendance who gathered with the Apostles to recognize individuals who have promoted the mission and ideals of our religious community. The 2010 honorees are the Clelia Merloni Leadership Award, Hartford Archbishop Henry Mansell, D.D.; the Clelia Merloni Service Award, Jan and Ann Koelemij and Dr. Fernando Saracco, M.D.; the Clelia Merloni Charism Award, Frances Consiglio and Elaine Lamboley; and the Clelia Merloni Youth Award, Jennifer Limauro.
Proceeds from the dinner will help support our sisters in Formation, our elder sisters at Sacred Heart Manor, and the poor we serve in our ministries, especially in The Apostle Immigrant Services in New Haven, CT and Sacred Heart Learning Center in the Bronx, NY.
